POSITION SUMMARY 

Incumbent is expected to join Enterprise Digital Solutions team and will be responsible for supporting a large portfolio of custom applications from across the business. The Enterprise Digital Solutions provides innovative solutions using modern technologies to support key business needs, and as part of this team, he/she will take part in a fast-paced work environment with tasks consisting of software development, incident resolution, documentation, and strategic technological or process improvements.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

·        This will be a technical position and the incumbent will have the responsibility of collaborating within a small team of developers to deliver end to end business solution which adheres to the business requirements

·        2+ years of hands-on IT development experience

·        Work directly with the business users to understand business requirements, clarify ambiguities and devise appropriate solutions

·        Design system specifications and interfaces for cross-platform interacting components

·        Lead, mentor and guide junior technical staff and interns

·        Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems

·        Follow our processes to provide updates, details and documentation on the applications supported

·        Seek and devise alternative courses of actions and solicit feedback for professional development

·        Collaborating with our global team of business analysts and solution developers to develop and validate specified solutions

·        Working with the software vendor’s support team to analyze and deploy vendor solutions to our problems

·        Application or system level ownership. Supporting, maintaining and enhancing the application or system during the life cycle of the solution

·        Providing on-call and urgent issue support as required

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

·        Proficiency in design, development and deployment of applications based on CMS and Dot Net technology framework

·        Strong programming background with the ability to architect end to end business solution of medium to high complexity

·        High-level knowledge in the following is a must: Drupal, .NET MVC, PHP, CSS, Angular, jQuery, Gitlab, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, DevOps, Agile software development, automated testing, iOS/Android app development

·        Ability to create detailed technical specification from the functional specification

·        Proficiency in creating architecture level Object diagrams, Database design, Use-case diagrams with focus on User-centric design

·        Experience with creating platform-independent web applications

·        Exposure to mobile application development using any one of the mobile development platforms (iOS, Android, Windows)

OVERVIEW

The Oracle Developer is a member of the IT Applications Team within the Textron Systems Information Technology department. This role will work with the team to create/update PL/SQL packages and configure Oracle EBS modules. This will include requirements gathering with associated functional Analysts, coding, testing; provide support and troubleshooting the Oracle application based off user feedback; working in a fast pace environment with multiple departments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Perform advanced-level technical duties requiring independent judgement and analysis
• Participate in and coordinate gathering of business requirements for application development
• Be able to document code and utilize source code to create and maintain a clean history of code changes.
• Participate in architecture, implementation, design, administration, maintenance, documentation, and support of the Oracle EBS application stack.
• Communicate and coordinate with the department and the business to minimize impact during maintenance and upgrade windows. Ensure thorough planning, testing and approval from the business before any transition or implementation.
• Research, evaluate, monitor, and recommend emerging technology of beneficial data technologies.
• Work with business analysts to develop business solutions
• Test and debug software components
• Revise programs to eliminate errors and/or improve functionality
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Intermediate Knowledge of Oracle EBS
• 5+ Years of experience Programming in SQL and PL/SQL
• Working knowledge of Java
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to go beyond the minimum requirements

• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to maintain a strong attention to detail, maintain customer-oriented focus, and collaborate and function effectively within a team environment as well as independently

·         Working knowledge in Oracle E-Business Suite 12 or higher, Oracle ERP applications development with an emphasis on workflows, interfaces and other technical functions

·         Technical proficiency in: Oracle Forms (6i and higher), Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle Reports (6i and higher), Oracle Workflow Builder, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, API’s; XML Publisher; web services

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent.

·         Five (5) plus years of software development experience preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Applications Developer is a member of the Teamcenter Project Implementation Team within the Textron Systems Information Technology department. This role will work with the team to refine requirements, design, develop and test business solutions that will be implemented in Siemen’s Teamcenter application.  As a technical export in Teamcenter you will be training, mentoring, and documenting for other developers the “best practices” for tailoring the product.

POSITION SUMMARY (IT Analyst)

The selected candidate will be part of the Textron Information System which supports the large portfolio of FSSC, Corporate finance and business units finance IT applications. • Strong expertise in using most of the standard adapters available in SAP PO like SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, REST, AS2, JDBC, RFC etc.
• Should have good knowledge in SAP PO’s NWA for configuring certificates, creating destinations, PGP Encryptions.
• Strong knowledge in developing EDI interfaces and Trading Partner Management
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting connectivity and mapping issues.
• Basic knowledge in patching and application upgrades.
• Basic knowledge in using ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Solman etc.
• Nice to have knowledge in other integration platforms like SAP CPI, MuleSoft
• Nice to have knowledge in SAP ABAP
• Able to build and design logic.
• Should have good knowledge of JAVA and SQL
